Infrastructure

SCHOOL BUILDING: The school has a very spacious building which is located at the sprawling Nirakar Maidan at Dapot, Mashem. The building inaugurated in 1998 is now being extended with 10 additional rooms on the first floor housing computer labs, audio visual centre, activity rooms etc.

THE LIBRARY: The school has a well equipped library with over 4000 books of which around 500 has come as donations from well-wishers. The Library subscribes to many important periodicals and newspapers.

SCIENCE LABS: State of the Art science labs equipped with all modern amenities.

COMPUTER LABS: The school’s computer lab has 24 hour internet facility.

AUDIO VISUAL ROOM: The Audio Visual room has equipments like the slide projector, the overhead projector. LCD projector, two coloured televisions, PCs with multi media and internet facility and a variety of musical instruments to support classroom teaching and also to train students in different skills.

DEITI: Goa University has established the Direct Receiving System (DRS) in our school under its Distance Education, Information and Training Infrastructure (DEITI) scheme which is open to the public.
Various educational programmes are telecast live regularly with the video conferencing facility.

SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE: We have a sports complex for outdoor games admeasuring 200x100 i.e. 20000 sq. metres where football, baseball, kho-kho, tennicoit, running track and cricket matches are held. The Goa Cricket Association has sponsored a turf pitch.
We also have an independent indoor complex admeasuring 20x10 = 200 sq metres housing a badminton court. Table tennis and chess are also played here. The school has procured gymnasium equipment under the Government of India scheme of assistance. Regular coaching camps are held in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa.
